giffgaff proudly announces continued partnership with rising British tennis star Arthur Fery

giffgaff has announced that it is the exclusive connectivity partner of rising British tennis star Arthur Fery.

The signing builds on the mobile and broadband provider’s sponsorship of Fery during his career-changing performance at Wimbledon this summer, which saw its logo appear on the British wildcard’s sleeve as he defied expectations to reach the semi-finals at SW19.

United in their challenger spirit and loyal community followings, the next stage of their partnership will see Fery continue to wear the giffgaff logo on his kit across the next four Grand Slams, Davis Cup and other ATP events, while also featuring in a range of exciting giffgaff marketing activity over the next 12 months.

Kate Dohaney, giffgaff CEO said: “The best partnerships are built around shared ambition and a belief in what’s possible. Fery is an exceptional young talent who has put years of commitment, discipline and determination into his game, and he has the ambition to keep pushing further.

At giffgaff, we want to use the strength of our brand and platform to back people who are making their mark in their own way. Fery embodies that spirit, which is why this partnership feels like a natural fit. We’re proud to continue backing him as his career builds, and excited to see just how far the Ferytale can go.”

Arthur Fery said: “giffgaff were there from the start when there were no guarantees. To be continuing the journey with giffgaff now is exciting. There’s a lot planned over the coming twelve months, and I’m looking forward to all of it.”

The deal was brokered by the P11 Group and The Members Agency.
